Walter Arvid Haarala, 78, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on May 1, 2017 at his home in Mobile.
Walter was born on February 11, 1939 to the Late Eino Arvid Haarala and the Late Bessie Mae Haarala Gibbons. He was preceded in Death by his Brother Francis Arsene Haarala of Pascagoula.
Walter is survived by his Loving Wife of 40 years, Ruth Wells Haarala, 3 Sons Randall (Karen) Haarala of Ocean Springs, Ms., Richard (Terri) Haarala of Frisco, TX., and Marc (Shelly) Haarala of Frisco, TX. Walter is also survived by his Grandchildren Zachary (Kelsey) Haarala, Hannah Haarala, Regan Haarala, Ethan Haarala, Olivia Haarala, Emma Haarala, Hayden Haarala, and by his Great Grandson Brayden Haarala.

Wednesday May 3
Visitation is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Luke 4:18 Fellowship Church in Mobile, Alabama
Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Church.
Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, Ms.
Serving as Pall Bearers are: Randall Haarala, Richard Haarala, Marc Haarala, Mitchell Haarala, Zachary Haarala, Ethan Haarala, Hayden Haarala, Brayden Haarala, Ben Haarala, and Jackson Haarala.
