Wesley Chiniche

Wesley Sylvester Chiniche, a native of Gulfport, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the age of 67. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University; retired from Alabama Power Company as an electrical engineer; was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and was an active member and Past President of The Society of St. Vincent De Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester John Chiniche and Pearl Rousseau Chiniche; his birth mother, Lucille Spiers Chiniche; and a son, Paul Christian Chiniche. His survivors include his wife, Maureen Rose Asher Chiniche; two sons, Andrew John and Daniel Joseph Chiniche; his daughter, Stephanie Leigh (Thomas) Morgan; two grandchildren, Alexander and Eric Morgan; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM from St. Dominic Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
