WILBUR BARNETT JACKSON

Wilbur Barnett Jackson, age 84, of Grand Bay, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at his home. He was a native of Thomasville, AL. Barnett was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After his time in the Navy, he worked as an outside salesman for Refrigeration Supply Company and was a member of Travis Road Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ellen Jackson; parents, Charlie and Marjorie Jackson; and brother, Millard Jackson.
Survivors include his daughters, Elaine Christian and Becky Brown; son, Gregory Jackson; grandchildren, Melissa (Will), Jennifer (Sean), Diane (David), Michele, Allen and Katherine (Lyn); ten great grandchildren; brother, Alton Jackson (Flo); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Brother Joe McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
