Willard N Cooper

Willard N. Cooper passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Born on August 20, 1936 in Bratt, FL to Finis and Bertie Cooper. Willards life was a testament of love, strength, and a gentle spirit. He was a resident of Mobile, AL.

Willards loving and giving character emanated from his core, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness and giving heart knew no bounds and was always willing to help others.

On July 12, 1957 he married his beloved wife, Marlene Mills, and together they built a life of 65 years filled with love.

Willard served his country with honor in the Army for several years. Professionally, he dedicated over 40 years of his life, with meticulous care, as a concrete foreman and carpenter.

Willard was a guiding light, providing love, support, and wisdom to his two sons, Gary Cooper and Gene Cooper.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by; his wife, Marlene Cooper; sons, Gary J. Cooper (and wife Tracy), and Gene N. Cooper (and wife Denise); sisters, Ruby Grethen, Linda Parks (and husband Bob), and Katie Laird; as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
