William Otis Bostick, Sr. passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Fairhope, AL . He was 47 years old.
William is survived by his mother (stepfather) Glenda (William) Barnes; fiancée, Mandy Poole; children, Katelyn, William, Jr (Bo) (Jocelyn Quiring), Layton (Amanda White), Logan (Kate Skelton), Brittany, Brett and McKenzie; Grandchildren, Sophia, Lucia, Tae, Laila and Maddox. He was preceded in death by his father Marion Bostick; Grandparents, Otis E. and Pearl Dunn, siblings Tracy Cooke and Michael Pettis; Uncle, Harold Dunn, Sr. and Cousin, Harold Dunn, Jr. (lil Harold).
William was born in Mobile, AL on October 24, 1975. He loved sports and most of all he loved his LSU TIGAHS! He lived most of his life in Theodore, AL where he was a devoted baseball coach and community volunteer. Between the years of 2003-2015, he was a mentor and coach to hundreds of players in the game of baseball/football and in life. He took pride in helping others and his community during times of need, as MANY referred to him as their "Superman". He spent the last 5 years residing in Fairhope, AL with is fiancée, Mandy where they were looking forward to building their future. He was a superintendent for McMurray Contracting and was a hard worker in the construction field, dedicated to providing for his family (and being the best in the field, if you asked him).
If you asked William, his greatest accomplishment wasn't his coaching legacy or his career. It was being a father. He took so much pride in his kids, whether it be in school, on the field, becoming parents or just life in general. To him, they were the greatest. To them, he was the greatest.
