William Morris Burton, age 71, died at home on December 27, 2014 at 12:17PM. William was known as Bill to his family and friends. He was born on June 9, 1943 in Columbia, SC he lived in Mobile, AL. He worked at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, as a Technical Manager with the MEDCOM Support Team. He was Honorably Discharged from US Air Force in 1974. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Burton son, Brad Laura Burton daughters, Elizabeth Martin, Lisa Mike McDowell and Lori Allan Emerick two brothers, Nat Anne Burton and Bob Ann Burton eight grandchildren, other relatives and friends. William Morris Burton was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virginia Burton. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 5PM until the 6PM Chapel Memorial Service.
