William Wayne Butler, a native of Franklin County, MS and current resident of Fairhope, AL, died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the age of 74. Wayne was a retired boilermaker and member of Boilermakers Local 112 in Mobile, AL. He loved antique cars and car shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Madison Butler and Annie Lee Williams Butler. His survivors include his loving wife, Sharon; son, Laurence "Lonnie" (Page) Butler; daughter, Susan (Bill) Kennedy; granddaughters, Anna and Niamh Kennedy; brother, Glenn M. Butler; brother-in-law, Robert S. Davis; nephew, David Glenn Butler; niece, Elisabeth Ann Butler; dear friends, William and Jeanette Pierce, Charles "Butch" McMahon, Wesley and Frances Miller, Lisa Williams and Linda Bishop; other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be William Pierce, Danny Phillips, Lavon Lassiter, Don Irby, Charles Bishop and Bill Adams. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:30 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
