William "Bill" C. Dewrell, born on April 17, 1932, passed away on July 10, 2022, in Mobile, Alabama surrounded by his loving family.
William Dewrell lived in Mobile, Alabama for most of his life as well as California for a handful of years. He had an immense love for fishing and successfully reeled in many women as a result. He was an excellent cook, famous for his lemon meringue pies and banana pudding recipes. He would create his own preserves and can his own vegetables. Dewrell often loved to share his kitchen creations with the people closest to him.
William Dewrell is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lena Carroway Dewrell; father, William Elbert Dewrell; brother, Paul Eugene Dewrell; sister, Maxine Elizabeth Dewrell Wicker; and children, Clifford Dewrell, Eddie Dewrell, Hillary Dewrell, Rodney Dewrell, Danny Dewrell, and Vickey Dewrell.
He is survived by his brother, Garry (Bobbie) Dewrell; sister, Geraldine C. Copeland; niece, Wanda White, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and grandchildren.
William Dewrell's visitation will take place at Mobile Memorial Garden's Funeral Home on Friday, July 15th, 2022, at 12:00pm with interment following at Mobile Memorial Garden's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of services.
