William Duke

William "Bill" Joseph Duke, longtime Mobile resident, passed away in Richmond, Virginia March 10, 2021. He was 88. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Blanche, and his wife Corinne. He is survived by his brother Vernon, his daughter Deborah, his good friend Elizabeth, and nieces and nephews. After retiring from Courtaulds he enjoyed raising and showing his pointers, rooting for Auburn, and cooking. He made the best barbequed chicken in the world and was an expert beekeeper. Interment was March 19, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
