William Haley

William "Bill" Galloway Haley, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Marshall Haley. He is survived by his daughter, Janis Haley (Mark) Everest; son, Jeff (Ramona) Haley; son, Mark Haley; grandsons, Jonathan Everest, Joel (Jessica) Everest; step-grandson, Luke McDaniel; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Everest and devoted friend Rosalie Steiner. He was a native of Fayette, Alabama and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked for L&N Railroad (later CSX) and was involved in many community activities, particularly coaching youth baseball. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday 1pm until service time at the funeral home.
