William Pearson

William "Pete" Pearson, age 81, a native of Glade, Mississippi and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away at home on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Pete, retired after 34 years of service at Sears as a Service Technician. He was dearly loved by his customers and co-workers. He was a member of the Mobile Roadrunners R.V. Club, member of First Church of God of Mobile and also was on the Board of Trustees at the church. Pete was very talented at fixing just about anything, and also was known by his friends in the CB radio world as "The Whistler", because of his talent to whistle. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Pearson. He is survived by his wife, Frances Pearson; children, Sherry P. (Alan) Weatherford, Chris Pearson, Bobbie Pearson; five grandchildren, Ashleigh (Tyler) Patterson, Bryant Pearson, Whitney (Cliff) Daugette, Josh (Melia) Weatherford, Christopher (Chris) Pearson; four great grandchildren, Eli, Ella Katherine, Rory and Oliver. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
