William Richardson

A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Bill passed away March 2, 2022 after a brief illness. Bill was born February 5, 1948 to Anne Gideon Richardson and William Cullen Richardson in Mobile, AL.

Bill graduated from McGill Institute (Class of 1966) and attended the University of South Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anne Cannon Richardson.
Bill was very involved in the Optimist Club of Mobile for many years and was a member of several Mardi Gras Mystic Societies. He was also a Scout Master for a number of years.

He worked for, and retired from, Alabama Art Supply.
Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing. He was known for his infectious laugh, as well as his loving and generous nature.

Bill is also survived by his brothers R Daniel Richardson (Sherry) of Pawleys Island, SC and Paul Richardson of Dothan, AL , one sister, Mimi Snider (Brian) of Fairhope, AL
