William Wayne Rognsvoog, a native of Racine, WI and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, entered the fullness of life on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the age of 86. After 50 years of service, he retired from Mobile Fixture and Equipment Co. as Design Draftsman. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening vegetables, outdoor grilling, and was a member of three mardi gras societies. William was a loving, caring, generous and talented son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and mentor. He touched the lives of many people. Nothing was more precious to him than his family, and his grandchildren always held a special place in his heart. William will forever and always live on in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steffen C. Rognsvoog and Bernice Frances Breitzman Rognsvoog. His survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Frances Sirocchi Rognsvoog; two daughters, Dottie (Glenn) Isbell and Christie Rognsvoog (Jerry) Maughon; one brother, Dean Rognsvoog; four grandchildren, Kevin (Emily) Isbell, Brian Isbell, Tracy Isbell and Jasmine (Aaron) Sowder; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Mark I Neske, will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Entombment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
