W. G. "Bill" Brantley, 92, passed away Monday, September 28th at home in Loxley, Alabama.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Batley BBrantley; son, Michael G. Brantley; second wife, Elizabeth Close Brantley; brother, Bobby Brantley.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Mary (Eric) Sizemore of Mary Esther, FL, Cody (Kaitlin) Brantley of Irvington, AL; daughter-in-law, Tanya Brantley of Grand Bay, AL; four great-grandchildren, Abby Sizemore, Emma Sizemore, Brody Sizemore, and Olivia Brantley; sisters, Raycelia (Ronnie) Webb, Addie Pierce, Mary Elizabeth (Ron) Sever; sister-in-law, Anita Brantley, step-daughters, Deborah Thomley, Katheryn Close; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill Brantley was an army veteran of the Cold War and retired from South Central Bell. He enjoyed fishing, wood working/ making walking canes, owned a shrimp boat, and loved his two dogs, Jaxson and Kari.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 3rd at 9:00am in the Mobile Memorial Gardens chapel, followed by a graveside service at 10:00am in the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Face masks are required if attending services. You may leave your condolences at www.mobilefuneralservice.com
