Wilma Iris Smith Clark, 88, a native of Harlingen, TX and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, made her transition from this life March 27, 2015 with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Whitfield Smith, Sr. and Esther Ruby Stafford Smith; her husband, Howard Harold Clark, whom she married in 1963 in Corpus Christ, TX; the father of her children, Orville "OE" Eugene Jardee; her brother, Herbert Whitfield Smith, Jr.; her sister, Cordelia Smith Johnson; and her son, Lawrence Reed Jardee. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lou Jardee (Billie Gene) Pavelka, of Mobile, AL; her son, Jerry Lance Jardee, of Port Lavaca, TX; her sisters, Billie Faye (Jimmie) Harris of Victoria, TX and Dee Dee (Sean) McArthur of Las Cruces, NM; six grandchildren, Billye Jo Pavelka, Theresa Kay Pavelka Wade; Travis Wayne Pavelka, Iris Jardee, Lori Jardee and Haley Jardee; six great-grandchildren, Jeremy Shawn Mothershead, Chad Wesley Mothershead, Travis Austin Pavelka, Savanna Noelle Pavelka, Jeremy Jardee and Dalton Wade Simmons; one great-great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Culpepper; other relatives and friends. She touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
