Wilma Kirkland Cunningham, 96, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away June 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma Bell Kirkland; her brother, Bryan Kirkland; her sisters, Carolyn Easley and Mary Powell; and her daughter, Donna Gordon. Her survivors include her husband, John Cunningham; one son, Ron (Becky) Demetropolis; one step-daughter, Ellen (Lucky) Ratledge; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Emmett (Edna Earle) Kirkland; one sister, Joyce (Ted) Peters; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Golden Living Alzheimer's Unit in Foley, AL for their excellent care of Wilma. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
