Winifred Turner

It is with great sadness that the family of Winifred Faye Turner announces her passing after an extended illness, on Monday, August 13, 2018, at the age of 82 years.

She was a native of Needham, Alabama and a long-time resident of Mobile., as well as an ordained Assemblies of God minister. Her husband, Cecil (deceased), and she pastored Calvary Assembly of God in Mobile for 45 years before retiring several years ago.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Phil (Annette), Tom (Pam), and Kevin (Astra). She will also be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Brad, Clark, Tim, Bailey, Brady, and Johanan, and by her six great-grandchildren, Emma, Micah, Nate, Millie, Lucy, and Lily.

A service in memory of Winifred will be held on Saturday, August 18, at 11:00 am, at Praise Family Church, 2605 Dawes Road, Mobile, Alabama. Visitation will be at 10:00 am immediately preceding the service.
